Where is The Capitol Groove?
  • The Capitol Groove takes place in Bushnell Park in Hartford, CT
  • The main entrance gate will be located at 31-99 TRINITY STREET
  • Drop off and pick-up locations will be marked on site and posted here. Check back for final locations
When is The Capitol Groove?
  • June 29 and June 30, 2024
  • Gates open at 11:00 AM both days
  • Music starts at 12:00 PM both days and ends at 10:00PM

Are there sponsorship opportunities available?

Are there employment or volunteer opportunities for The Capitol Groove?
  • Yes, there are a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities including box office, bartenders, guest services, facilities, merchandise and more.
  • Check back here for  additional information or email info@thecapitolgroove.com to be added to our mailing list.
Are children allowed to attend?
  • The Capitol Groove is a family friendly event. Children of all ages are welcome with a parent or guardian.
  • General admission for children 12 and under is FREE! Child VIP Tickets are available for purchase.
Is The Capitol Groove cashless?
  • YES, the festival is a cashless event
  • RFID bracelets (your tickets) can be attached to credit cards or you can use credit cards or select cash apps on site

What is your bag policy?
  • Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bag or backpack (maximum size: 12” x 6” x 12”)
  • Clear one-gallon resealable zip top bag
  • Small purse, fanny pack or hand-held clutch (maximum size: 5” x 7”)

Is there food and drink for purchase?
  • Yes! The Capitol Groove will have food trucks and vendors on site.
  • There will also be multiple bars at Capitol Groove serving beer, wine, and other cocktails
  • Participating vendors will be posted closer to the event
Can I bring my own food and drink?
  • NO but you may bring a refillable water bottle (must be empty upon arrival).

Can I come and go from the festival?
  • There is no re-entry to The Capitol Groove

What is The Capitol Groove’s alcohol policy?
  • Any guest who is deemed intoxicated upon arrival will not be permitted to enter.
  • No outside alcohol or beverage of any kind is permitted within the concert facility.
  • Anyone under the age of 21 who has alcohol on them will be removed from the site and have their bracelet cut.
  • Any adult who provides alcohol to someone under the age of 21 will be removed and have their bracelet cut.
  • There will be a maximum of two alcoholic beverages sold to any one person at one time.
  • Anyone who staff believes to be intoxicated will be immediately removed.
ADA
  • The Capitol Groove will have an ADA viewing area. Upon arrival please visit Guest Services for more information. A general admission ticket is required for entry. Accessibility passes will only be available at Guest Services and will allow the patron plus one access to ADA viewing. Note, ADA viewing is not guaranteed. The ADA viewing area will have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The Festival is wheelchair accessible but is a large park with significant distances between activities and attractions. The terrain is all outdoors and includes: city streets and pathways. Some travel over natural terrain should be expected and inclement weather could impact accessibility.
  • The Festival does not provide any transportation either within the concert grounds or surrounding areas.

Lost and Found
  • During the festival, lost and found will be located at Guest Services
  • After the festival, lost and found will be at Infinity Hall (32 Front Street, Hartford) during regular box office hours.

TICKETING FAQS

Where can I buy festival passes?
  • All passes are available HERE! or at GoodWorks Infinity Hall box office (32 Front Street, Hartford, open show nights from 5:00PM-9:00PM and as otherwise posted or listed HERE).
When will we receive our tickets?
  • The Capitol Groove will have RFID bracelets for entry.
  • Bracelets will be mailed to attendees four to six weeks prior to the festival.
  • If you are attending both days, it will be the same bracelet.

What if I order passes after the mail deadline?
  • All purchases after the mail deadline will be available for pick up at WILL CALL at The Capitol Groove box office on-site.
  • Infinity Hall  (32 Front Street, Hartford) will also have WILL CALL hours for The Capitol Groove leading up to the festival (hours to be announced).

What if I need to change the mailing address for my bracelets?

Are there discounts for local residents?
  • Yes, The Capitol Groove is thrilled to offer local discounts on tickets for Hartford residents.
  • Must purchase at the Infinity Hall Box Office (32 Front Street, Hartford)
  • Open show nights from 5:00PM-9:00PM and as otherwise posted or listed here.
  • Photo ID + additional proof of residency required (utility bill, etc.)
  • Limit 2 per person.
  • Local passes are limited and available while supplies last.
  • Local passes are not transferable.
Is The Capitol Groove all-ages?
  • The Capitol Groove is a family friendly event. Children of all ages are welcome with a parent or guardian.

What if I lost or damaged my bracelet or it was never received?
  • If you lost or damaged your bracelet please visit the box office on site or if prior to the event, Infinity Hall (32 Front St, Hartford) during posted hours.
  • Replacement bracelets carry a $20 replacement fee

3rd Party Ticket Purchases
  • The Capitol Groove can only be responsible for purchases made directly through our website and approved ticketing partner (SEE TICKETS). Any passes purchased through a 3rd party are at your own risk.
What is The Capitol Groove refund policy?
  • The Capitol Groove is rain or shine.
  • There are no refunds on admission purchases, no exceptions.
  • In the event that the event is postponed, all tickets will be valid at the rescheduled event date.

Attendee understands that at this event or related activities, they may be photographed. Attendee agrees to allow their photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and assigns.
